Have you ever had a friend who is very diligent participating charities? Or you are one of them? Do not give up or quit. Why, a new study says that participate in charitable activities can make life happier. Studies conducted by Guide Dogs, one of the charities for the visually impaired from the UK, said that the activities of charitable money or goods can create a sense of excitement last up to one week. But if you really want to live a bright and happy, come to volunteer. Why, a volunteer will make sense of excitement last up to 24 or more than 3 weeks. Dr Glenn Wilson, a psychologist who conducted the study said that the money was to be one aspect of happiness of people in modern times. But one could be happier if the money donated to charity or participate as volunteers in these activities. "This study proves that the giving or charity is one of the surest path to happiness. Gives and work will increase the feeling of happiness and self-actualization are known with a warm feeling," said Dr. Wilson, quoted from Guidedogs.org.uk, and written on Tuesday (10.07.2014). More specifically, the research conducted by Dr. Wilson and Guide Dogs find that the effect of giving charitable donations or more felt by young children than adults. Young people aged 18 to 24 and even feel a sense of happiness that is much longer than the average adult, reaching 34 days. In terms of gender, women referred to more easily feel happier. If the men who participated as volunteers are happy to less than 20 days, women feel the effects even 20 days longer, closer to 40 days. Other results showed that people who make a donation, regardless of its form, in the past year was 12 percent happier than people who do not donate at all. In fact, 19 of 20 adults admitted feeling more positive through life after donation. Richard Leaman, Guide Dogs Executive Director said that the study proves donations provide much of an effect. Not only for the recipient, but also to those who give. "Of course it is not strange if a person feels happier after making a donation. They have done something positive, and the effect does not only apply to them, but also to people who need out there," he concluded.
