Reject brother-sister with Down syndrome Member Thus, Bowling Club's Closed
Recently, a bowling club in England was threatened to be closed by the local council. This is done because this bowling club rejected two siblings with Down syndrome register as a member. The story began when Mark (38) and Dewi Kemp (33) idly trying to play bowling in a club that wears the city council building for the practice. Not unexpectedly the two fall in love with this game so decided to play bowling again next week. On my next visit, Mark and their sister Goddess delivered, Emma Kemp (35). Before leaving, she even called the club that welcomes members of the two brothers. Arriving at the training ground, talk to Emma's eyes by four representatives of the club named Elloughton Short Mat Bowling Club it. They say the two brothers make other members feel uncomfortable. In other words, the club had only 12 men state can not accept Mark and Goddess to join their club. Even Mark and Goddess had been threatened to leave the building where they were practicing at the time. Though the brothers had purchased a new pair of bowling shoes and pay a fee of 5 pounds (about USD 98,000) to be able to play at the club. Emma then reported this unpleasant treatment to the city council, Elloughton Village Hall. Hearing this, the chief Elloughton Village Hall, Will Richardson admitted concern. "We (the city council) is very surprised by this report. For that we are investigating these allegations. Meantime we will shut down the club," he said. Richardson added the city council building is allowed to be used for various activities, and he confirmed that all the activities in the building should not be fragmented. This means that all citizens are entitled to participate, without any exceptions. "They have nothing to do with the city council. They are just one of the clubs that hire city council building all week," he added. Since this story was reported, Mark and Goddess also got a lot of sympathy from many quarters. Even a number of clubs offering free memberships for both. "I was very impressed because there were many people who want to read our story. Finally we have a lot of activities for Mark and Goddess," concludes Emma as quoted from the Mirror, Tuesday (07/10/2014).
