Egypt army killed 26 terrorists

Egyptian soldiers Sunday , announced it had killed 26 terrorists and arrested 84 others during the past week in raids on four areas . Targeted raids on terrorist hideouts in northern Sinai , Ismailia , Port Said , and Daqahliya , said military spokesman Mohamed Samir in a press statement , adding that the terrorists were killed in the crossfire . Soldiers also seized seven vehicles , 17 unmarked motorbike , and a number of explosive devices were used for terrorist operations , a spokesman said , as reported by KUNA . He added that they also had destroyed 18 tunnels across the border in North Sinai . Meanwhile , the military effort to thwart illegal immigration by 148 people , including 137 Egyptians and six Palestinians , besides seizing 12 vehicles loaded with cigarettes contain carcinogens , and six vehicles containing two tons of drugs .
